Need A Laugh...

Do you need a laugh? I do... I feel terrible. Whatever just keeps hanging on.
Anyway, World Net Daily has a forum section called LAUGHLINES. I decided that in spite of the sickness, I needed a good laugh. You might want to check them out for many, many more laughs.

Diagnosis A.A.A.D.D.
Recently, I was diagnosed with A. A. A. D. D. - Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder. This is how it manifests: I decide to wash my car. As I start toward the garage, I notice that there is mail on the hall table. I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car. I lay my car keys down on the table, put the junk mail in the trash can under the table, and notice that the trash can is full. So, I decide to put the bills back on the table and take out the trash first. But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the trash anyway, I may as well pay the bills first. I take my checkbook off the table, and see that there is only one check left. My extra checks are in my desk in the study, so I go to my desk where I find the can of Coke that I had been drinking. I'm going to look for my checks, but first I need to push the Coke aside so that I don't accidentally knock it over. I see that the Coke is getting warm, and I decide I should put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold. As I head toward the kitchen with the coke a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye--they need to be watered. I set the Coke down on the counter, and I discover my reading glasses that I've been searching for all morning. I decide I better put them back on my desk, but first I'm going to water the flowers. I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill a container with water and suddenly I spot the TV remote. Someone left it on the kitchen table. I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV, I will be looking for the remote, but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers. I splash some water on the flowers, but most of it spills on the floor. So, I set the remote back down on the table, get some towels and wipe up the spill. Then I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do. At the end of the day: the car isn't washed, the bills aren't paid, there is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counter, the flowers aren't watered, there is still only one check in my checkbook, I can't find the remote, I can't find my glasses, and I don't remember what I did with the car keys. Then when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day long, and I'm really tired. I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail. Do me a favor, will you? Forward this message to everyone you know, because I don't remember to whom it has been sent. Don't laugh -- if this isn't you yet, your day is coming!

How Big Is God?

Driving home from an appointment this morning, the words to this song came to mind. I'm sure you'll understand... the Lord was so near and so big.

How Big Is God?

Though men may strife to go beyond the reap of space
To crawl beyond the distant shining stars
This world's a room so small within my Master's house
The open sky's but a portion of his yard.

How big is God, how big and wide is His domain
To try to tell these lips can only start
He's big enough to rule his mighty universe
Yet small enough to live within my heart.

(As winter chill may cause the tiny seed to fall)
To lie asleep till waked by summer's rain
The heart grown cold will warm and trod with life anew
The Master's touch will bring the glow again.

How big is God, how big and wide is His vast domain
To try to tell these lips can only start
He's big enough to rule his mighty universe
Yet small enough to live within my heart.
-Ray Price

It just amazes me .... "He's big enough to rule his mighty universe
Yet small enough to live within my heart."

It's hard to drive with tears, but the blessing was so great!
"The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him,

and all the upright in heart shall glory."

Psalm 64:10

Yeah, It's Spring!

Today is the first day of spring... yeah, it's Spring!!!

I am so ready. I love to see the flowers pushing their way through the ground and all the green after a long winters snow and rains.

It's been one of those weeks. Tired, not feeling on top of it and sometimes just run, run. You know what I mean? I need a day of rest!

Amy & the munchkins are heading back to Kansas. It has been so nice getting to spend some time with them. I bought some kids books and Kinsey and Caden have been reading up a storm. I love it! I love to read and I like to see my grand kids enjoy the adventures of going anywhere and having adventures through the pages of a book. Like someone once said books will take you anywhere and through many experiences. Oh, maybe that was me. :)

Today's another full day so until next time, enjoy the day!

My New Site

My new sales site for Celebrating Home is listed on the left side of this page. You can check it out when you have time. I really do like this new company and I think those of you who liked the old companies Home Interiors and Gifts and Home and Garden Party will really like the new company which has the best of both worlds, so to speak. The products are just beautiful!

It's always hard to part with the old, but new can be good. In this case new is great! For now, my old Home Interiors web address transfers over to the Celebrating Home web address.

" If my people which are called by my name,

will humbles themselves, and pray, and seek,

my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then

will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their

sin, and will heal their land."
