I am such a happy camper...
I got my picture to upload. Wow! Now I can download pictures to my posts. There is a little bird in the tree that says my blog was boring without pictures. Hopefully, the bird will build a nest and stay awhile! lol!!!
Anxious To Get In The Garden...
Well, we still have the rains and the garden is too wet to get in it, but God knows all about it. It just gives me a little more time to get a few other things done. But, Beth and I are anxious to get in the garden and finish planting.
About a third of the tomato plants are in. The onions and corn are up and looking good. The carrots don't seem to be coming through, but hopefully they will soon. I used a planting strip for them, so we will see how that works.
The flower gardens have been weed-whacked, not weeded, not sprayed and not pulled out. With my hurt hand, I have to be careful. I don't want to tear the wound open and I want to keep dirt out. It may be the year of the whacker!
I will share pictures when I can figure out why I can't get my blogger pictures to download. For right now, I just hope you enjoy the posts.
Anyway, I'm so looking forward to a fruitful vegetable and flower garden this year! It really gets exciting when we can start putting food up for the year.

All Things Are Possible...

That scripture is just a great reminder that all things are possible with God. Look up... He's our help!

Laughter Is The Best Medicine...
Do you ever feel discouraged or down? Of course you do... we're all human and it happens. That's usually when I look for something uplifting. When my husband comes home and it has been an especially stressful day, we'll sit down and watch a funny video. It just feels good to laugh. Of course, if my kids are around they usually have some funny story to tell. That works too.
Sometime, singing lifts the spirit. God has inspired so many Christians with the words to songs that minister to the soul. God didn't say we had to have the best singing voice to sing. I think, Christians voices singing a song of praise is wonderful in God's ear.
Most of all... I'm so glad that for the big troubles in life, we have the Lord and His Word. Nothing is as healing as God's word and prayer! Years ago, I listened to a story that was read on the radio and I remember the mother of the home saying "first we pray" whenever they had a problem. That just stuck with me. It is the first thing we need to do.
Then there are the times when everything just seems a little tight and stressful and a little humor lifts the heart. praise in song lifts the heart and praying lifts the heart. God wants us to be happy. I believe God's understands ...

Most Inconvenient Thing...
Well, I cut my hand washing dishes and it is a most inconvenient thing. Now, I have to work on my patience and wait for the wound to heal before I can do much of anything. It took 8 stitches.
At least I got my corn, onions and carrots planted before this happened. It will soon pass, but it is still a most inconvenient thing!
