This has been quite the rainy day. Merrill and I had a couple of things since he wasn't able to work today because of the rain.
Someone was wanting to see a picture of Duane's boys, so I am posting this for them.

I found this picture that reminded me of a story that Steve was telling us about a hound dog with long ears. This dog has looooooooong ears!

Could be from the book at Grandma Lavy's house that went something like this: Around the corner and down the street There lives a dog with great big feet His tail stands high And his ears hang low His nose is as long as a nose can grow Some times I see him in the park Whenever I call he'll run and bark He stands at the fountain to get a drink He's the funniest dog in the world, I think One day he chased a big black cat, oh me But, guess who wound up in the tree Yep, that's right the dog was way up high And the big black cat walked slowly by!

I think it is from a book by Nancy Hoag called The Hound Dog. I found the title on another blog. My husband and I have been trying to figure this out for a while...thanks for helping us solve our mystery!
